Ranks the 50 states plus DC plus 4 territories by their 401(k) plans' average participant cash contribution per active participant (Line 2a(1)(A) from Schedule H, divided by active participants at the end of the plan year, Line 6a(2), Form 5500). Each plan's average value is weighted by the plan's number of active participants. Covers 60,821 401(k) plans that filed a Schedule H, whose start date is in Q1 2022, and each with at least $1 in total assets. Uses data (25 February 2024) from DOL EBSA.
